Knuckles blushed a slight bit, from both emberasment at getting hit by a low branch, and becouse Candys soft hand was on his forehead "Ehh..." he laughed nerviously "I guess the tree just hates me..." he said, he closed his eyes, relaxing for some reason, though he quick shook his and stood up "I-I-I I really gotta go" he said, and started walking, he ducked under the low branch before he got hit agian "HA!" he said, but then tripped on a root and fell face first into the grass

Candy looked over her shoulder. "that tree must realy hate you."Candy smiled at him and waved. "ill see you arund then. ill be arund."Candy said looking back at the grass and staring at it sortaq dreamily

Knuckles lifted his head and spat out some grass "....nature hates me" he said, and stood up and walked away

Candy lay there for a little wile longer. she then got up and started walking arund malesly. she ended up down the same hall way were Knuckles had triped over her. she sat down agen enjoying the dark.

Knuckles was ironicly walking down the small dark hallway, though he seemed to be off in his own little world, becouse he was staring up at the cieling, his eyes glazed over, he was far, far away, he walked part right infront of Candy, not noticing her

Candy looked up when she hird foot steps. she saw it was knuckles and also noticed that he was off in his own little world so she let him be. she knew when she got like that there was something mager on her mined. Candy slowly got up and started walking in the other direktion. she whent out in to the caought yerd. some guy came up to her and started cashwaly talking to her. Candy wasnet realy intorested in talking to him at all.

Knuckles after a bit of walking sorta snapped out of it, he noticed Candy and was gonna go to talk to her, but saw that she was already talking to someone, so he decided to not interupts

Candy frownd wail the guy talked to her. she slaped him acrose the face and stormed off. she wasent headed any were inpertikuler just away from the guy

Knuckles head a slap and looked at the source of it, he saw Candy, storming off, mad. He then ran over to her, he came up behind her and put his hand on her shoulder "Hey hold up"

Candy trund arund abut to slap Knuckles acrose the face thinking he was the boy from befor. Candy droped her hand right befor she hit him. "oh its just you. hey whats up?"candy said a bit biterly.

"Whao!" Knuckls blinked when he saw her hand stop right before she slapped him "ehh.....Nothing much?...Just wanna ask..." he looked over his shoulder at the guy "What in the world did he say?" he asked

Candy let out a sigh. "aparently him and his friends made a bet...there just stoopid night schoolers."Candy said looking down at the ground. Candy tuked her hair behined her ear trying to calm down

Knuckles blinked "Bet? What bet?" he asked, and walked infront of her, crouching down until he was at the same eye level "Come on, you can tell me, please?"

Candy sighed and looked at him. "somthing abut who could lead me on first...some stoopid thing like that."Candy said and looked away from him. "i dont know guys can be so dificult and comfusing.no affens."Candy said looking back at him

Knuckles blinked, and then put an arm around her shoulders "Heh, none taken, and that what you have wintnessed, was a guy acting like an even bigger idiot than me" he said, and removed his arm from her shoulders
