Knuckles thought for a monent "Oh, I got it" he said, but then it started to drizzle, but in a few seconds it became a hard down pour "mmh...talk about raining on another persons parade" he said, and grabbed Candy's hand "Come on" he said, running, he found a really large oak tree, it was extremely leavy and thick, so the droplets didnt fall through the leaves

Knuckles looked up at the sky "Doesnt look like its gonna clear for a while" he slumped down against the tree and Yawned "I guess the only thing to do is get some sleep"

Candy sat down nexed to him."good idea seeing as were stranded."Candy leand her head agenst the tree and closed her eyes. she was prity tierd aftor the other night even though she had goetn goo sleep. it dident take lojng for her to rift off into sleep. wail she sleped her head leand over and rested on Knuckels sholder.

Knuckles didnt fall asleep all that quickly, though before he did, he felt someone put their head on his shoulder, when he saw that it was Candy, asleep. He blushed and smiled a bit, he leaned his head on hers and fell asleep himself, the drops of water still hitting the ground hard, falling from the sky

the morning came but Candy was still asleep on his shoulder. not used to geting up with the sun she was used to sleeping in the light of the sun.

Knuckles opened his eyes slightly, and yawned, the whole place was wet from the rain, but the sky was clear now, and the water on the grass and trees was glowing.
