Candy grownd and got up and opened a draw taking out some things and looking arund. then looked arund in the closet and the got out a cell phone were the sawnd was coming from. "hello?"Candy said opening it and siting back down on the bed. "hi dad..."Candy said her entier body sagged and she let out a sigh.

Knuckles blinked "...dad?" he said quietly, he decided to keep very quite until she's finished talking, aperantly, she really didnt like her dad, the way her whole body sagged. 'That ringtone was rather...sad...'

Candy lisend to the other side of the phone. "i know i know." Candy said in a sorta desprit voice. her dad on the other line rased his voice lawed anuf for Knuckels to hair. "yung lady you know why we sent you there!! you know why we had to!" Candy closed her eyes shut tight. "yes dad i know...ill try haerder...ok bye." Candy shut the phone and let out a shaky sigh. she puled her knees up close to her and held them just staring at the phone.

"my grades are sorta bad and i got in some truble and aprently there just finding out abut it now. i came here cus my parents dident want me on the streets... they think im just taking advantige of the opertunity and not taking it sireusly..."candy sighed agen and through the phone in to a pile of clothes

Knuckles blinked "...thats why he yelled at you like that?" he asked, he looked down at the ground, he wasnt good with these kind of situations, he didnt know how to comfort someone "...I...cant really help you there...my own grades arent something to be proud of, and Im just one more trouble away from beeing booted out of the school for life..." he said, looking down at the ground. He then just thought of something, and out of nowhere, bot slowly and gently wrapped his arms around Candy 'Hugs make people feel better...right?' he thought, wondering if this wouldnt just make things worse

Candy raped her arms arund his waist. right now she wouldav taken a hug from any one she knew. she hated her family. Candy leand her head agenst his chest and trid not to cry

Knuckles didnt really know what else to do, muttering sweet nothings was out of the questions, but he subconsiously tightened the hug a bit, he was a bit impressed that she was so strong, not crying
